
Sales Engineer opportunity
Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join our client who are a global pioneer in construction innovation. Their eco-friendly technology sets new standards in safety, sustainability, and efficiency as part of their Construction Revolution. With an expanding local team, we are looking for a Sales Engineer with experience in the construction industry to help drive the adoption of our groundbreaking methodologies. Role Responsibilities: • Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, issue coordination, and problem resolution. • Build relationships with principals and engineering firms by attending industry conferences and seminars, generating leads, and following up on opportunities. • Support the acquisition and development of new business opportunities by identifying market trends and reporting insights. • Collaborate with internal teams and technical specialists to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively. • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with partners and customers to ensure long-term engagement. • Deliver product training sessions internally and at customer locations to enhance product knowledge and usage. • Present new technologies, products, and services at conferences, seminars, and other industry events. • Advise potential clients on suitable construction methodologies and structural designs tailored to their project requirements. • Contribute to the optimization of sales processes and assist in developing strategies for promoting new products. • Participate in customer onboarding, strategic planning, and provide consultative services to support successful project execution. Essential Skills & Experience: • Background in civil or geotechnical engineering, with hands-on experience in related construction projects. • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus! • Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with prospective clients and stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments. • Experience in a technical sales role or as part of a project team. • Ability and willingness to travel for conferences, seminars, and client meetings. • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, adaptable, culturally aware, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with AutoCAD. • Valid EU work and residence permit.
